Mortellito is the name of the land where my roots lie — a two-hectare countryside where, in the early 1900s, my great-grandparents lived. It is here that I chose to begin my journey as a winemaker, stepping away from city life and its conventions to reconnect with the land.
It was a choice born of love — for nature and for a place I am deeply in love with, one that brings together my greatest passions: the Earth and the Sea.
The local wine culture inspired me to seek out authentic wines, made naturally and without manipulation, coming from organic farming.
Today, we cultivate about 23 hectares. Our family-run estate is managed by Dario, Carmelo, Turiddu, Guido, Matteo, and Franzo, who dedicate themselves to it every day — joined by many friends who come to help us during the various stages of our work.
