Mangavop was born from our friendship: Giuseppe, an established tropical fruits grower in Syracuse for 20 years, and Stéphanie, a former French lawyer who moved to Sicily and became a citrus, avocado, and passion fruit grower. Our companies, "Mango di Siracusa" and "Terra nel Cuore," are united by their passion for plants and the transformation of their fruits into healthy, delicious products, fully respecting the natural cycle of the seasons. From the beginning, we rejected the idea of intensive production and the use of chemicals, opting for organic and regenerative agriculture. We hope to convey our dedication through the pleasure of tasting. For less than two years, we have been offering a high-quality artisanal product from our farm: Nanea, a natural passion fruit liqueur made with plenty of passion fruit pulp grown outdoors in Syracuse and little added sugar. Nanea magnificently enhances the sweet and sour taste and intense aroma of passion fruit, releasing a fresh and delicate flavor. It is particularly appreciated at the end of a meal or as the protagonist of an exotic cocktail (passion fruit spritz, passion mojito...).
We offer a guided tour of the farm, including a description of the various tropical plants and how we cultivate them. At the end of the tour, we offer a tasting of the fruit ripened at the time of the visit and a tasting of our Nanea passion fruit liqueur. Tours are available upon previous appointment in Italian, French, or English. The tour lasts approximately one hour. The cost is €10 per person.
