
The Savino family owns an estate located within the Vendicari Wildlife Reserve, situated in the southeasternmost corner of Sicily — a patch of unspoiled nature that encompasses landscapes and beaches of incredible beauty, untouched by human presence, where flamingos, storks, and cormorants can be observed.
This is one of the few Nero d’Avola vineyards overlooking the sea, located in the Sichilli area, the homeland of this renowned red grape variety. The celebrated Nero d’Avola is cultivated especially in the area between Noto and Pachino, thriving thanks to favorable climatic conditions, low rainfall, and the ancient farming traditions handed down since the times of Magna Graecia.
