From the second half of the 20th century the lush citrus groves of the Caruso family extended into the Contrada Roveto up to the sea of Calamosche, with areas also intended for the cultivation of vegetables and wheat.
Subsequently some lands were incorporated into the current Riversa Naturale Orientata of Vendicari, with its establishment in 1984.
Since 1992 the principles of sustainable agriculture and respect for the environment have represented the foundations of company philosophy which is conducted under certified organic farming.
Torre Vendicari was born in 2004, when with the restoration of an old farmhouse and scattered ruins, in addition to the agricultural activity,
there is also the agritourism activity of catering and welcoming guests.
In 2011, at the hands of Angelo and Antonino, a complete modernization of the vineyards began existing, with the objective of telling
the Sicilian identity and culture through the own bottled wines to export to Italy and beyond.
